I’ve sure been thinking about this a lot lately.

I just launched a new blog two months ago and very curious as to how it's going to grow.

Since AI tools like Chat GPT have come to life, marketing has just not been the same.

In seconds, people can write full 3000 word articles by just asking a simple question.

It's mind boggling...

This raises the question.

If everybody can create a blog posts in a few seconds, what's going to happen to blogging and search engine marketing?

Have niche sites and influencer blogs reached their peak?

I'm not sure the full answer but I do know we're going to see a flood of new content being published.

Marketers that know how to use AI are going to be producing some amazing content.

What I really think is going to happen is that generic content is going to be pushed out of existence and only truly unique content of the highest quality with rise to the top.

What will search engines consider high quality content in the age of AI?

Original stories and experiences that AI can’t create on it’s own.

This is the secret to winning with AI.

The other question I see…

Are marketing jobs going to disappear?

Not at all.

I think they’ll continue to evolve like they have over the last decade.

Chat GPT and AI are tools that will help marketers do more and do it better.

If you don't use these tools, you'll probably fall behind.

You're just not going to be able to produce as much and won't get as much attention.

There was a big AI conference this past week and I heard something really interesting about the company Jasper.

If you don’t know who Jasper is, it’s an AI content marketing company that create tools for marketers to generate content using AI. Here are their core features.

The strange thing that a lot of people wouldn't expect is that this company that has the best marketing tools at their disposal still has a full team of human marketers.

Huh? What? Why?

Because AI still needs to be prompted.

It needs to be fed ideas in order for it to produce a good output.

Like I mentioned above, AI is a tool that needs to be told what to do and that is the new skill that is required by humans.

Humans can bring experience and stories and feed those into AI to help develop them into high quality pieces of content.

I'm excited about what AI is going to do for businesses and marketers.

What do you think?

Are you using AI? How are you using it?

I would love to know your thoughts.
